Kolkata : Nowadays fashion has become part of lifestyle. So the style of fashion has changed with time. In keeping with the modern trends, the current fashion designers are emphasizing on the everyday items used by the students. As a result, INIFD, Salt Lake is not far behind. As one of the platinum educational institutes of the city, the event titled “Explodia” is organized every year with emphasis on student-centered education. This year is no exception.
This incredible exhibition was created by the efforts of the second and final year students of Fashion Design. The excitement of this year's Explodia with the students was incredible, with new things being discovered and new additions all together.
According to the students, it took them three long months to work on each segment completely and they had teachers by their side every minute.
Last February 9th, 10th and 11th, the annual fashion and lifestyle exhibition took place at IFD Salt Lake's own campus. The three-day event was inaugurated by fashion designer Abhishek Roy. At the closing ceremony, actress Priyanka Sarkar walked the ramp with the students. On the other hand, actor Anirban Bhattacharya praised the organization. This year's theme deserves a lot of praise.
