Kolkata : Over 40+
Australian companies are showcasing Australia’s global leadership position in
Mining Equipment, Technology and Services (METS) at the 11th edition of
International Mining, Equipment and Minerals Exhibition (IME) 2025 in Kolkata
between 30 October – 2 November 2025.
The
Australian participation is brought together by the Australian Trade and
Investment Commission (Austrade) in partnership with Invest and Trade Western
Australia; Investment New South Wales; Trade and Investment Queensland;
Austmine – Australia’s largest mining industry body and supported by Department
of State Development, Government of South Australia.
The
Australian participation at the exhibition features a cross section of
Australian METS firms such as consulting, exploration, mining IT, mining
equipment, environmental & low carbon mining, and quality & safety.
Other key events during IME 2025:
1. Austrade
organised an Australian Mining and Resource Investment seminar focusing on
developing secure and sustainable supply chain for critical minerals and copper
underpinned by advanced processing technologies that support both the nations’
decarbonisation and clean energy transitions.
2. Austrade
jointly with Women in Mining India organised the Symposium on Diversity and
Inclusion in Mining to highlight the evolving role of women in mining and
foster leadership opportunities for women and other diverse groups across the
mining value chain. An Australian First
Nations delegation shared their experiences in advancing diversity and
inclusion within their professional communities.

about the Australian participation, Mr
Nathan Davis, Trade and Investment Commissioner, Australian Trade and
