The evening witnessed the presence of several prominent personalities from the Bengali film industry, including actor Abir Chattopadhyay, veteran actress Moon Moon Sen, filmmaker Srijit Mukherji, director Satrajit Sen, and members of the band Shoroni.
Known for blending contemporary rock with cinematic storytelling, Kolkata-based band Shoroni has built a loyal audience through its independent musical journey. The music video features actor Soumya Mukherjee alongside actress Sayani Datta, whose performances form the emotional core of the story. Through poetic visuals and understated performances, the film attempts to portray the timeless bond shared by two souls navigating love and loss.
Speaking about the project, director Satrajit Sen said, "The moment I heard 'Chollo Dekha Jak,' I knew it was a story I wanted to bring alive on screen. Soumya and Sayani brought remarkable emotional depth to their performances, allowing us to tell a story that celebrates love, connection and togetherness through visual storytelling."
The launch concluded with interactions between the artists, filmmakers and invited guests, celebrating yet another addition to Bengal's growing independent music landscape.
With its cinematic treatment and emotionally layered narrative, Chollo Dekha Jak is expected to resonate with audiences who appreciate storytelling-driven music videos, while reaffirming Shoroni's commitment to creating meaningful and genre-defying music.
